Transcription:Hey, guys. Today, we’re talking about house maintenance, which would be keeping your gutters clean and what can happen with the damage that comes from that. I’m going to show you … You can kind of see over in my corner, these gutters are a little bit full and need to be emptied, and I’ll show you what happened because of this.
This is obviously not a part of the house with a gutter, but it’s kind of the easiest way to show you the damage. You can get a lot of soffit and fascia damage from something like that. It’s usually improperly installed flashing, which there may be a problem up there, or just gutters need to be emptied out. Again, this part is not going to be that expensive to fix, it’s just going to be the wood and the labor, which may be anywhere from $500-1,000, maybe. Problem is, is once we get in there, we don’t know if that framework’s got rotted inside there, if more wood’s rotted. So, it’s just best to do this maintenance early on.
